Description

Prox Circuit Board (PCB) Identification and Re-Flashing   As we all know some models take 2 or 3 different key types and frequencies depending on the production month of the year. This is what we call a “Split year” model. Manufacturers sometimes change the entire Prox key due to the country of origin or may have even changed to a different factory to produce parts.  This will sometimes cause a failed programming procedure due to the wrong part being programmed. This will more times than not also lock the failed prox. Due to high demand, a T.I. educational precaution demonstration will help the automotive locksmith identify the correct PROX before programming. This will save the locksmith time and money which is key in a fast-paced world. The demonstration will also show various tools in the market that could unlock these PCB boards in case of a failed key being locked such as MK3, Tango, Rem un-locker and more.
